Minnesota State College Southeast students enjoy access to many active student organizations and activities on campus. Please check out the brief descriptions of each organization's goals and email the advisor if you have questions or would like to learn how to join.

Student Senate

Open to: All Minnesota State College Southeast students who meet the membership qualifications. There are separate Student Senates in Red Wing and Winona. Online program students who wish to participate can select which campus from which they receive services.

  • To provide and promote student activities
  • To advocate for students to governing bodies
  • To encourage cooperation between students and the community
  • To work with faculty and administration in supporting quality educatio; and

To represent Minnesota State College Southeast with LeadMN, the statewide college student association.

Open to: All Minnesota State College Southeast students, especially those in the CNC Machine Tool program

  • To promote CNC Machine Tool activities and education

Equestrian Club

Open to: All Minnesota State College Southeast students (primarily Winona campus)

  • To increase camaraderie and fellowship within the equine industry
  • To connect students with horse-related volunteer opportunities in the region
  • To plan educational activities and events that promote excellence in horsemanship
  • To provide opportunities for personal growth and development through the principles of horsemanship

Open to: All Minnesota State College Southeast students, especially those in the Mechatronics program

  • To promote Mechatronics education and expose students to opportunities in the Mechatronics field

Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) - Minnesota State College Southeast Beta Rho Mu Chapter

Open to: All Minnesota State College Southeast students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and 12 semester credits completed in an associate's degree program

  • To promote the scholarship, leadership development, service, and cultivation of fellowship among qualified students
  • Learn more about PTK

Radiography Club

Open to: All Minnesota State College Southeast students, especially those enrolled in Radiography or Introduction to Health Careers.

  • To increase camaraderie and fellowship in the Medical Imaging Profession
  • To share ideas and knowledge of the Radiography profession
  • To be a visible, productive entity in the community that promotes the Radiography profession and to volunteer and help in the community
  • To plan field trips that enhance student learning
  • To promote Southeast's Radiography Program and amplify interest in our exciting field of study

Student Music Association

Open to: All Southeast students, especially those in the Band Instrument Repair, Violin Repair, and Guitar Repair and Building programs (primarily Red Wing)

  • To provide educational and social activities, events, trips, tours, guest lecturers, etc. for the benefit of music program students
  • To plan and organize the annual instrument, tool and supply Swap Meet
