Jennifer Hawkins brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education and economic development to her roles Executive Director of Minnesota State College Southeast Foundation and the college's Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. Prior to joining the administration of Southeast, she was an Associate Professor for Community Economics with the University of Minnesota Extension from 2017-2023 and Director of Strategic Initiatives and the Global Business Practicum program at the Carlson School of Management's Carlson Global Institute from 2010-2017. Jennifer received her bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Studies from Hamline University and master's degrees in business administration and public policy from the University of Minnesota.

Casie Johnson started at the college in January of 2005, working in the President's Office and the Office of Advancement. She has more than 20 years of administrative experience with various roles in marketing, event planning, alumni, development and health care. She is also a 1994 and 2013 alum of Southeast. She is a native of Winona, having spent 6 years living in Milwaukee before moving back to the area. She lives with her husband, Brad, and their three children, Ethan, Alexis, and Gavin. In her spare time, she enjoys movies, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
