Jennifer Hawkins, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives

Jennifer Hawkins brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education and economic development to her role as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. She directs strategic and operational planning, marketing and communications, grant development, college accreditation, community partnerships, and institutional development. Prior to joining Southeast, she was an Associate Professor for Community Economics with the University of Minnesota Extension from 2017-2023 and Director of Strategic Initiatives and the Global Business Practicum program at the Carlson School of Management's Carlson Global Institute from 2010-2017. Jennifer received her bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Studies from Hamline University and master's degrees in business administration and public policy from the University of Minnesota.
Amy Maxeiner, Vice President of Student Success

Dr. Amy Maxeiner became Southeast's Vice President of Student Success in October 2024. She leads the college's academic enterprise and student support services, which impact virtually every aspect of the student experience at the college. She has more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration. From 2016 to 2024 she served at Black Hawk College (Moline and Galva, IL) as Vice President for Instruction and Vice President for Instruction and Student Services. Previously she worked in leadership roles at McHenry County College (Crystal Lake, IL), the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Northern Illinois University (DeKalb, IL). She earned an Ed.D. and a master's degree (MS) in Adult Education from Northern Illinois University and a bachelor of science in Physical Therapy from Marquette University.
Lisa Pozanc, Vice President of Finance and Administration

Lisa Pozanc has lived in the Winona area since 1987 and worked at Minnesota State College Southeast for more than 24 years. She began her career at the college as a work-study in the business office, was hired as an account clerk, and became Director of Business Services in 2019. She earned an associate degree in accounting at Southeast in 1999 and a bachelor of science in business administration at Metropolitan State in 2014. In 2021, Lisa was one of three individuals statewide who were presented with the Outstanding Service Award at the 2021 Minnesota State Finance Conference. She began her role as Vice President of Finance and Administration in 2023.
Megan Zeches, Chief Human Resources Officer

Megan Zeches has served as Minnesota State College Southeast's Chief Human Resources Officer since March 2021. With 13 years of progressive HR experience, she is skilled in employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, and compliance. Prior to joining Southeast, Megan served as the Sr. HR Manager-Americas for BCS Automotive Interface Solutions and as HR Generalist for The Watkins Co., both in Winona. She also held various HR positions at Mayo Clinic and Eaton Corporation. Megan has a bachelor's degree in Community Psychology from St. Cloud State University and a master's degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from University of Minnesota.
