Southeast Tech students attended a panel discussion on job seeking skills Thursday, January 13. However, this was no ordinary panel discussion, the lineup included graduates of the college who had found success and were able to share their wisdom after years of serving in the workforce. Panelists responded to questions ranging from: What do employers look for on my resume? - to - What can I do to be prepared for the interview? Instructors Jill Halverson (Accounting) and Terry Greene (Sales & Marketing) served as facillitators getting the discussion started; within minutes attendees fully embraced the opportunity. Panelists included: Nick Lundquist, Executive Vice President of Sales, Fastenal (Sales and Marketing 1979); Rich Wantock, President, Watkins Products Inc, Retired (Electronics 1965) Dan Matejka, City Administrator - Goodview, MN (Accounting 1984); Lynn Zielke, Field Events/Recognition and Incentive Manager,Watkins Products (Sales and Marketing 1979); Stacy Evenson, Accountant, Corporate Tax Division Kwik Trip (Accounting 1994); Alberta Rosburg, Merchants Bank (Director of Human Resources).
