Grade Point Average

A student's grade point average (GPA) is determined by adding all grade points and dividing by the sum of all credits passed and failed. All courses tried, except pass/no credit and audit, enter the grade point average. If a course is repeated, credits are counted only once, and the grade from the last attempt is used in computing the GPA.

Grade Reports/Transcripts

After each term, students are graded on course work completed. A student may access their term grades and print unofficial transcripts through eServices. A student may request an official transcript for a small fee through Parchment, Southeast - Transcript Request

Transcripts will not be released for students who have a delinquent financial obligation or financial "hold" at the college, unless otherwise required by law.

College Grading System

The following system is used to determine a student's grade point average (GPA):

  • Each A - 4 grade points per credit.
  • Each B - 3 grade points per credit.
  • Each C - 2 grade points per credit.
  • Each D - 1 grade point per credit.
  • Each F - 0 grade points.
