Red Wing - Campus 2019

Red Wing Campus and Community

Close to a number of transfer colleges in both Minnesota and Wisconsin, the Red Wing campus is perched above the Mississippi River. Arts and culture flourish in this small town, which is home to The Sheldon Theater, the Anderson Center for Interdisciplinary Studies and Hobgoblin Music Loft. The town is also noted as the home of Red Wing Shoes. You can fish and boat on the big river, ski at nearby resorts, bike on the Cannon Valley Trail, enjoy area trout streams, watch for eagles on our dramatic bluffs, or sip a latte in our historic red brick downtown. The Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul are an easy 50 minute drive away.

Location

The Red Wing campus is located about 3 miles south of downtown at the corner of Highway 58 and Pioneer Trail (directions). There are classroom spaces, large musical instrument repair and state-of-the-art nursing simulation labs, a bookstore, Academic Resource Center, and the Student Commons.

Food Service

A variety of fresh breakfast and lunch options are available on campus through PicNick's Food Service.

Transportation

While most students rely on cars or bikes to get around, the Red Wing campus is also served by bus service routes through Hiawathaland Transit. Check their website for schedule and service map. Southeast students ride FREE with Student ID.
