MSCS Red Wing Student Music Association Musical Swap Meet coming up on Sat. Feb. 17
Red Wing, MN (Feb. 9, 2018) -- For the sixth year running, the Minnesota State College Southeast Student Music Association (SMA) is hosting a Musical Swap Meet on the Red Wing Campus. The Musical Swap Meet on February 17 is a place to buy, sell, and trade new and used musical instruments, accessories, tools, and supplies. The event is free and open to the public.

Both individuals and music stores will have vendor tables at the Swap Meet. Bring your checkbook -- and music related items you might want to trade. You never know what you may find!
The Student Music Association will also host a Bake Sale during the event. Look for an array of irresistible home-made treats!
MSC Southeast's signature musical instrument repair programs draw students from across the country to study violin repair, band instrument repair, and guitar repair & building. The Musical Swap Meet coincides with the regional NAPBIRT (National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians) clinic, which will bring experts in band instrument repair to the Red Wing campus.
It's also the same weekend as the debut of the Big Turn music festival, so out of town guests are especially encouraged to stop up at the college's Red Wing campus and join in the fun.
Proceeds from the Musical Swap Meet and the bake sale help cover travel expenses for MSC Southeast students to take off-campus trips to museums, conferences, and companies that deal in instrument building and repair.
