WDN: MSC Southeast names interim president: Lundblad previously served as president of Central Lakes College

By Kyle Farris, January 25, 2018

Minnesota State College Southeast has a new interim president.

Larry Lundblad, who previously served as president of Central Lakes College in Brainerd, was appointed to the position on Wednesday and will officially begin next week.

He replaces outgoing president Dorothy Duran, who announced her resignation in December, as officials from the Minnesota State system begin the work of finding a permanent replacement.

"I've already reached out to a number of people in the community, and there's a lot of good, solid support for this college," said Lundblad, 67, who retired from Central Lakes College in 2016. He's familiar with Minnesota State College Southeast, he said, from collaborating with the college on various projects throughout his career.
