WINONA, Minn. (KTTC) - Feeling stressed at work? Perhaps a free massage would help.

Students in the Massage Therapist program at Minnesota State College Southeast's Winona campus are practicing their skills by offering free ten-minute chair massages.

They gave free massages Thursday and they'll do it again two more times this year.

It's open to the public and no appointment is necessary.

The students say it helps them improve their technique, but massages also serve a variety of benefits.

"It could help them relax, we have trigger points that happen in our bodies, and it'll help kind of relieve those," said Jade Valerius, a Massage Therapy student. "And other things too, like increased blood circulation."

If you'd like to get one, the students will be giving free massages again on November 30th and December 14th from 3:00-4:45 p.m. in the college's main lobby.
