MSC Southeast will host third annual Boy Scouts of America Sugar Loaf District Merit Badge Fair on September 30

Winona, MN (September 20, 2017) --- For the third year running, Minnesota State College Southeast will host the Boy Scouts of America Sugar Loaf District Merit Badge Fair. This year's Merit Badge Fair takes place on September 30, 2017 at MSC Southeast, Winona campus, 1250 Homer Road, Winona.  Registration begins at 7:30, and the day begins with a Flag Ceremony by the Order of the Arrow at 8:00 am.

The day-long Boy Scout Merit Badge Fair is an opportunity for Boy Scouts to work on merit badges, as they further their goal of achieving the Eagle Scout award.  Scouts from all around southeastern Minnesota will participate in the event. Full and half-day classes will be offered by Minnesota State College Southeast instructors and others in several areas of expertise, including:

Automotive Maintenance
Chemistry
Citizenship in the Nation
Citizenship in the World
Crime Prevention/Fingerprinting
Electronics/Electricity
Fire Safety
First Aid
Plant Science
Programming
Public Health
Public Speaking
Radio
Salesmanship
