Musical Swap Meet
Saturday, February 11, 2017
10 am to 3 pm
Minnesota State College Southeast, Red Wing Campus
308 Pioneer Road, Red Wing, MN
MSC Southeast's signature musical instrument repair programs draw students from across the country to study violin repair, band instrument repair, and guitar repair & building. This year's Musical Swap Meet coincides with the regional NAPBIRT (National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians) clinic, which will bring experts in band instrument repair to the Red Wing campus.
New this year, 2017 SMA President Izzy Salinas says, is a bake sale. "We will have baked goodies on sale throughout the day, and we'll be accepting free will donations to the Student Music Association," she says. "Proceeds help cover travel expenses for our students to take field trips to museums, conferences, and companies that deal in instrument building and repair."
Vendors who would like to participate may request a table by email to [email protected]. The deadline to reserve space at the Musical Swap Meet is February 8, 2017.
