Winona Daily News: On new law, Winona colleges are ahead of the curve

A new law in Minnesota requires college students to complete online training in preventing sexual violence, and requires colleges to keep and release more detailed records of those cases.

But with fall classes beginning later this month, officials at Winona’s three colleges say they don’t need to change much to conform with the law, that steps they’ve taken in the past few years have put them ahead of the curve.
