Winona Daily News: Training hospitals' detectives -- Southeast Tech's medical technician program going strong

Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical has a new set of laboratory classrooms tucked into its health care wing -- two labs, a prep room, a darkroom, and two offices, all still smelling of new paint.
The facility is now the home of the medical laboratory technician program at the college, which started in 2012 and quickly grew and needed the larger space.
The program received accreditation from the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences this summer, and they're accepting applicants for fall 2015.
