Southeast Technical's 11th Annual Community Connections Golf Tournament planned for Thursday, May 26 at Mt. Frontenac Golf Course
Red Wing, MN (May 17, 2016) -- A day of fun on the links is planned for May 26, when the 11th Annual Community Connections Golf Tournament takes place at Mt. Frontenac Golf Course in Frontenac. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Southeast Technical Foundation scholarship fund, increasing student access to higher education.

10:00 am: Tournament registration begins (grill will be open for purchasing lunch)
12:00 pm: Shotgun start
5:00 pm (approximately): Pasta buffet dinner, awards, raffles; silent auction closes

Registered golfers will receive a golf shirt when they check in. The tournament is an 18-hole foursome team scramble, with prizes awarded for first, second, tenth and "most honest" (last) place. A silent auction and liquor pull will be available throughout the day. After the tournament a pasta buffet dinner will be served and awards will be made.
Proceeds from the event help support Southeast Technical students in need through scholarships and programmatic initiatives. Thanks to the many generous contributors to the Foundation, over $123,00 in scholarship support was awarded to 154 qualified and deserving students in academic year 2015-2016.
