Winona, MN (October 6, 2015) - Join the Medical Laboratory Technician program at Minnesota State College - Southeast Technical to celebrate the grand opening of its newly renovated lab and classroom space on the Winona campus. This is an opportunity to meet the instructors and learn more about the college's Medical Laboratory Technician 2-year A.A.S. degree and Phlebotomy certificate options.

Stop by the Med Lab Tech Open House to:

  • Celebrate... with cake and refreshments!
  • Tour our new state-of-the-art facilities
  • Get a chance to win door prizes
  • Save $20 - College application fees will be waived at the event

In addition to the festivities, guests are invited to learn more about what Medical Laboratory Technicians do by participating in some hands-on activities using microscopes and other equipment, including:

  • Testing chemical pH
  • Spotting blood cells
  • Determining blood type
  • Finding a vein
  • Identifying a parasite

Minnesota State College - Southeast Technical's Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program was awarded accreditation in April 2015 by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).
