Give to Minnesota State College Southeast Foundation during the season of generosity and hope

Gift Box(Winona and Red Wing, MN) November 15, 2024 - It's the season of giving, and Minnesota State College Southeast Foundation has launched its annual campaign to raise funds to support the college and its students. The annual fall campaign aligns with Minnesota's Give to the Max Day on November 21 and Giving Tuesday on December 3.

"Minnesota State College Southeast is a vital part of local growth and opportunity, and with contributions to the Foundation from our donors and supporters, we can continue to transform lives and uplift our communities," said Tom Pasch, Minnesota State College Southeast Foundation Board President.

During the annual campaign, the Foundation seeks contributions from alumni, businesses, and friends in the community to support scholarships, student emergency funds, access to basic needs, and program innovation and excellence. Donors may also designate a gift to the Foundation for general support, allowing funds to be used where they are most needed.

Make a secure online donation or learn about more ways to donate to the Minnesota State College Southeast Foundation at www.southeastmn.one/donate. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and all gifts are tax-deductible.

In addition, the Foundation is participating in Give to the Max (GTTM) Day on November 21. Gifts made during GTTM at www.givemn.org are selected by lottery for "Golden Ticket" prize grants, which can increase the gift by $150, $500, or even $1000.

On Giving Tuesday, the national day of giving after the Thanksgiving holiday, the Foundation will dedicate funds raised to The Pantry, a free student resource for fresh food, household staples, and personal items.

Student Life and Basic Needs Coordinator Tracy Rahim noted that the results of this fall's Hope Survey indicated that 39% of Southeast students are food insecure.

"Keeping The Pantries in Red Wing and Winona fully stocked and ready to serve our students' needs is of paramount importance," she said.

"Every donation helps us expand access to quality education, enrich our programs, and provide students with the resources they need to succeed," said Tom Pasch. "Supporting the Minnesota State College Southeast Foundation means investing directly in the future of our communities. Together, we're making a lasting impact."
