WINONA — With only 14 total COVID-19 cases reported at Minnesota State College Southeast's Winona and Red Wing campuses this spring, the college is planning to fully open its campuses for the 2021 fall semester.

"This year, our faculty and staff have gone the extra mile to keep our students safe," said Chad Dull, vice president of Academic Affairs. "With safety protocols in place including masking, physical distancing, hand hygiene, sanitizing, and taking daily self-assessments, we have kept transmission on campus very low,"

Classes that were previously delivered via distance learning technologies will continue to be online.

"Southeast has a strong catalog of great online classes, and we're committed to making learning accessible to our students in a variety of ways," said Josiah Litant, vice president of Student Affairs and Dean of Students. "MSC Southeast will be ready to meet the needs and expectations of students by offering face-to-face classes as well a full complement of campus activities and support services."

The college will continue to follow CDC and Minnesota Department of Health guidelines, and will be prepared to adapt its plans if the situation changes. For more information, visit www.southeastmn.one//futurestudents.
