Red Wing, MN (April 23, 2019) --- "Community Connections" ― Minnesota State College Southeast Foundation's annual Red Wing golf tournament -- is coming up on Thursday, May 23 at Mt. Frontenac Golf Course.  It will be a great day of golf and fun activities, but if golf isn't your game, you can still enjoy an excellent dinner plus silent auction, awards ceremony, and raffle.

Information and registration is available online at www.southeastmn.one/redwinggolf.

The tournament is set up as four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 12 noon. Golfers can sign up as a foursome or can be paired up with other golfers to make a group of four. Prizes are awarded for first, second, middle of the pack, and "most honest" (last) place winners, so everyone has a chance to win. There will also be hole events and games throughout the tournament.

"The Community Connections Golf Tournament is not only an important fundraising event, but also an opportunity to build relationships within the Red Wing community," said Associate Foundation Director Casie Johnson. "We value getting to know our Red Wing friends and supporters better!

MSC Southeast Foundation holds two annual golf tournaments, one in Red Wing and one in Winona. Over the years, these events have raised more than $300,000 for the Foundation, providing essential scholarship funding to support MSC Southeast students in need.

Eagle sponsors for the Community Connections Golf Tournament are Excel Images, Prairie Island Indian Community, and Xcel Energy.

For more information, to make an auction or raffle donation, or become a sponsor, contact Casie Johnson at 507-453-2663 ([email protected]).
