Winona Post: Minnesota State drives $8 billion of state's economy

11/28/2018 - The 30 colleges and seven universities that comprise Minnesota State contributed over $8 billion to the state's economy in FY2017, according to an economic contribution analysis recently released by Minnesota State. The study further concludes that the economic activity of the system supported or sustained 67,717 jobs throughout the state. ... Locally, Minnesota State College Southeast's total economic impact was $80,346,402; 694 total jobs were impacted by the school; and the total state/local tax impact was $4,691,844.
