Guitar show displays dedication to craft

All cut from mother of pearl, these fingerboard inlays show the unique touch second-year guitar student and Vermont native Mitchell Ogle lent to his latest creation.

Ogle's guitars -- along with the myriad other acoustic instruments designed and built by students in Minnesota State College Southeast's Guitar Repair & Building program -- will be on display for all to see 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 7, at the Red Wing campus, 308 Pioneer Road.

Typically on display during the day, the annual showing of guitars was moved to the evening this year to make the free event more accessible to the community.
