PART 1.  POLICY

Minnesota State College Southeast is committed to providing and promoting equal employment opportunities and supporting an inclusive environment, for all persons without regard to race, sex, color, creed, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, status with regard to public assistance, sexual orientation, or membership or activity in a local commission as defined by law. The college's affirmative action program, policies, procedures, practices, and standards will be designed, implemented and maintained to carry out the commitment and awareness to support aggressive affirmative action steps and programs intended to remedy the historical under-representation of persons of color, women, and persons with disabilities in the work force. 

It shall be the responsibility of all employees of the college to promote and apply the principles of equal opportunity and affirmative action in their work and to cooperate fully with the college's affirmative action plan and program.

Minnesota State College Southeast complies with Minnesota Management and Budget's and Minnesota's State affirmative action efforts.
